The Islamic State may have continued their war on the formerly Christian West, with another attack in France. As reported in the Daily Mail, a truck has run into the crowds in the city of Nice, France that were watching the fireworks celebrating Bastille Day. There are at least 73 dead and more than 150 injured. Eyewitness are saying there was an exchange of gunfire between police and the driver after his attack, where the driver was shot dead after jumping out and firing at people.
Anti-terror police locked down the city and warned residents to stay indoors. There were reports of shots ringing through the streets as gunmen targeted cafés and hotels.
The driver was killed at the scene, however there are reports of a second gunman on the run.
An eyewitness said "it's absolute chaos. There are reports of dozens of people killed, and many more injured. Bodies are lying everywhere. Police are flooding the streets, including anti-terrorism officers. Nobody knows what to do, except hide away. Gunmen are meant to be targeting hotels."
